Our client, based in Brisbane, specialises in all aspects of landscape construction and seeks a highly skilled and motivated landscape Site Supervisor to join their growing team.
Role Description
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced landscaper to utilise their qualifications and expertise. In this position, your duties will include building retaining walls, garden edging, installing fences, brick and block structures, decks, planting, and mulching work on various residential and commercial projects. You will lead a team of labourers and landscapers and have excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Liaison: Communicate regularly with clients to ensure deadlines are met and achieve high customer satisfaction.
* Manage the team and ensure scheduled work is on track
* Equipment Management: Set up, operate, and manage all relevant equipment. Oversee the packing up and cleaning processes to maintain a well-organised work environment.
* Safety and Maintenance: Ensure the safe operation of all plant equipment, including conducting pre-operational checks, performing essential maintenance, and directing wash-downs.
* Compliance: Strictly follow site-specific safety, environmental, and quality management protocols.
* Quality Assurance: Follow established standards to deliver high-quality results consistently.
* Building retaining walls, garden edging, installing fences, drainage, brick and block structures, decks, planting, and mulching work on various residential and commercial projects.
* Set up, operate, and manage equipment, as well as oversee packing up and cleaning processes.
Skills & Experience
* A minimum of 3 years experience in landscaping construction.
* Must hold a White Card
* Must be proficient in laser layout.
* Stone finishes are a plus but not essential.
* Experience with brick and block structures is essential
* Completed a Certificate III in Landscaping
* Must hold a Driver's licence (minimum C Class)
* Excellent communication skills.
