This position is based in either Kapooka or Wagga Wagga NSW, but we may offer flexible working arrangements including FIFO, hybrid, and locum options if these locations are not close to where you reside.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Medical Officer with our client, you'll be supported in your growth and development, empowering you to enhance the daily lives of the people we serve with dedication and care.
You will provide primary medical care as part of a multidisciplinary team, all working together to ensure the health and well-being of Defence personnel.
You will play a key role in assessing personnel for fitness for duty and delivering care that supports their well-being, both pre- and post-deployment.
Requirements
* Current unconditional and unrestricted General registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration
* Minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent), GPT Registrar rotations are counted
* Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities per AHPRA
* Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
