Hours: 73.50 hours per fortnight, with flexible options available.
Main Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate the daily operation and maintenance of the Department's financial management information system (FMIS).
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective FMIS functionality.
* Develop and implement policy and procedural statements to optimize FMIS efficiency and compliance with Treasury requirements.
* Provide user training and support for FMIS users, including a Help Desk facility.
* Offer specialist consultative advice and technical support on financial systems and associated business processes.
Key Tasks
* Manage the integrity of the General Ledger within the finance system.
* Maintain and review security and access controls to ensure appropriate access to various systems.
* Design financial business processes to reflect changes in financial service delivery requirements.
* Configure the FMIS to enable implementation of business requirements.
* Project-manage software enhancements, integration, and upgrades, as well as business systems improvements and module implementation.
Additional Responsibilities
* Undertake research and analysis into contemporary financial systems issues and emerging trends.
* Design, develop, and modify financial reports to meet operational objectives.
* Contribute to corporate or other projects with significant FMIS implications.
