Your new role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Engineer to join the team and play a pivotal role in the management and coordination of engineering projects. In this role, you will:
* Plan and schedule day-to-day activities to meet project milestones.
* Monitor and control job expenditures to ensure cost-effective completion of projects.
* Conduct engineering discipline tasks as directed by management.
* Oversee project procurement and critically analyse project documentation to identify potential issues.
* Complete Quality and Inspection documentation in collaboration with clients and site supervision staff.
* Raise and resolve technical queries and non-conformances.
* Liaise with site and client staff to resolve potential challenges and maintain project momentum.
* Schedule construction activities to maintain efficiency, mitigate delays, and address shortfalls effectively.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Qualifications & Experience: A tertiary degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrated experience in civil construction engineering.
* Commitment to Safety: Unwavering dedication to Zero Harm practices at all times.
* Project Management Skills: Proven experience in delivering construction projects, including proficiency in project scheduling tools such as MS Projects.
* Technical Expertise: Thorough understanding of engineering standards, design specifications, and quality control processes.
* Licences: A current Queensland Class 'C' Driver Licence and General Construction Induction Card (White/Blue Card).
* Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, willingness to learn, and a pragmatic, motivated disposition.
