The Role
We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team based in Darwin. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and information throughout our organisation.
The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and be well-rounded across all aspects of the supply chain, including demand and supply planning, procurement, buying, and logistics.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Supply Chain team
* Lead the Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP) to align supply with demand
* Develop and implement strategic plans for the supply chain
* Ensure the efficiency of physical flows and information flows in accordance with business objectives
* Support the implementation of Lean processes to drive operational excellence
* Manage procurement and production/repair needs to meet customer requirements
* Manage supplier performance and cultivate relationships with stakeholders
* Ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
* Consolidate upgrades supply chain architecture
* Implement just-in-time systems and supervise operational parties
* Develop the skills of the supply chain team to build increased capability and ensure adherence to standards
Your Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
* Advanced degrees or certifications such as APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) are highly desirable
* Proven track record of success in supply chain management roles
* Experience in a variety of supply chain functions, including demand planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
* Experience working within a large international organisation and complex project environment
* Knowledge of production and repair processes, inventory management, and supply chain methodologies
* Experience in continuous improvement, problem-solving, and use of supply chain IT
* Strong interpersonal skills, ability to mobilise resources, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
