Description This role will work closely with Health & Education line of business, to deliver partnered financial management support. This person will provide effective management of the finance and accounting function including internal controls and accounting processes. Day-to-day management, preparation and delivery of monthly results, budgets, forecasts, performance analysis, working capital and achievement of cash flow targets for the relevant Health & Education contract(s). Responsibilities The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below: Complete end of month reporting, providing feedback on performance against budgets/forecasts. Manage the financial reporting and have accountability for all revenue and cost lines for the contracts. Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Service Payment and Life Cycle Invoicing as per contractual delivery. Compile and submit updated periodic forecast positions at month end with commentary. Manage the annual budgeting process, including coordination with various project and contract stakeholders to produce and present budgets. Maintain and review the “whole of life” (Forecast Cost to Complete) modelling for the contract, reporting on variance from the Forecast Margin and maintaining associated registers. Qualifications Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Finance/ Management. CA ANZ / CPA membership. Significant experience working as a Financial or Management Accountant. Working with budgets, profit and loss, and working capital. Business Partnering / providing support to business functions. Exposure to complex contracts is preferred but not essential.
