Technical Field Sales Representative Automotive Aftermarket
We are working with a globally recognised Aftermarket Parts & Components Manufacturer, to hire and onboard a dedicated Technical Sales Representative / Sales Support person to work collaboratively with the UK Account Management team. Key will be delivering Technical Sales Support / Technical Training to the Independent Automotive Aftermarket, including Motor Factors, Buying Group/ITG members, Automotive Workshops & general Automotive Components Distribution .
Ideal Location – Midlands & North
Up to £40k basic + Targeted Bonus + Car + 22 days holiday (rising to 30 days after service) + BH and Christmas closure + Pension + Benefits + Ongoing Training & PPD

Our ideal candidate will have worked within the Automotive Aftermarket and be familiar with car, & light CV applications. Knowledge of working within parts distribution & parts supply coupled with strong technical capabilities and great customer service / customer facing skills will be imperative in this role. We would also be exceptionally keen to hear from internally based technical / parts people that have a strong desire to develop a field-based career.
8 Key Skills:
1. Ability to absorb and impart technical information to distributors and technicians will be imperative.
2. Enthusiastic person with a thirst for knowledge and product performance / applications.
3. Highly pc literate, particularly with Microsoft packages including a good level of Excel expertise and presentation delivery packages including Power Point.
4. Excellent people skills with the ability to chat and deliver product training to mechanics, parts people and distributor sales staff at all levels.
5. Highly organised with solid work ethic approaching tasks tenaciously.
6. Flexible to travel covering an expansive region / territory and overnight as required.
7. Smart in appearance, punctual and able to create excellent 1st impressions.
8. Ambitious and keen to work with a global player within the automotive aftermarket.
