We know that circumstances can create barriers to learning, so we offer our students personalised pathways, flexible study options and learning support.About the Role:The role will work across all streams of the project and will oversee the project management aspects of the project including release management, project reporting, testing, resource allocation and onboarding, risk management, and change request management.Supporting the project strategic goals and delivery blueprint and working with the vendors and internal stakeholders to enable timely and efficient implementation of the new SMS and related system capabilities.This position is a key role in the implementation of a new SMS, which is a key component of achieving MP’s Strategic Plan and Digital Strategy.Duties:Lead the project management responsibilities of the project and provide project management related services to the project. This includes release management, contract management, risk management, testing, resource onboarding and assignment, and change request management.Working with the vendors, domain leads and key business stakeholders, lead the reporting of project updates to stakeholders as per requirements ensuring all reporting and presentations are complete, logical, and of a high quality for executive review.Own the SMS implementation framework and educate and support MP team members on the use of the framework. Lead the forward planning for the SMS implementation framework and ensure all work plans are aligned to the framework and overall project plan.For a full list of key responsibilities and duties, please view the position description.Skills and Experience Required:Desirable tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, IT, or extensive demonstrated experience in a similar role.Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and stakeholder influencing skills.Extensive knowledge of SMS and CRM capability in the VET or HE education sector, including processes, and related system capabilities.Demonstrated project management and leadership experience in the successful design, development, and implementation of a project of this complexity on time and on budget.Experienced in utilising a range of project management methodologies and tools including Microsoft Office 365 Project, PowerPoint plus JIRA and Confluence and Sprint planning, Agile and Scrum techniques.Ability to develop strategies, business proposals and manage change requests and testing.Ability to manage the identification and reporting of risks, issues, and dependencies.Analytical capability, strong organisational skills, and a high level of attention to detail.Ability to achieve outcomes in tight timeframes and to manage to schedule, budget and achieve benefits.Ability to be agile, adaptable, and resilient.A current Police Check.A current Working with Children Check Card (Employee).How to Apply:Please submit the following documents for your application to be considered:Current CVCover Letter (Please ensure that you address the Key Selection Criteria outlined in the position description)For further information on the role, please contact the hiring manager via email: recruitment@melbournepolytechnic.edu.au or via phone: (03) 9269 1650.If you email us, please make sure you put the job title and job number in the subject line.Please note, applications received via email will not be considered - you must apply via the website.Candidates must hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC).
