The Role
This is your chance to make a positive impact on the health and safety of a diverse workforce across Asia Pacific. Join Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific (DNAP) and help shape our strategic approach to injury and illness management.
As a Health Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of managing physical and psychological health cases, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and timely recovery of our employees. This role is a perfect fit for a passionate health professional who thrives in high-pressure environments and is ready to bring their expertise in injury management and workers' compensation to the table.
* Lead the charge in managing a diverse portfolio of physical and psychological injury cases, ensuring safe and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
* Partner with key stakeholders—from HR to Operations—coaching and mentoring them in best-practice injury management to foster a culture of health and safety.
* Develop and implement strategic programs focused on fitness for work, injury prevention, and compensation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
* Provide in-depth analysis and reporting, using data to drive continuous improvement in our injury management processes.
* Collaborate with external partners, including medical professionals and workers’ compensation insurers, to deliver the best possible support for our workforce.
What you’ll bring
You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
You’re a health professional with a background in injury management, holding tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and Return to Work Coordinator credentials. Hands-on experience managing physical and psychological injuries—ideally in high-risk sectors/major hazard facilities—you’re confident navigating complex workers’ compensation legislation across Australia. Your exceptional communication skills allow you to influence stakeholders, and your attention to detail ensures compliance while delivering positive outcomes for employees.
If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn’t align 100%, we still want to hear from you.
