About Lake Powell:
Lake Powell is the second largest man-made lake in the United States & is the ultimate playground! Over two million people visit each year to view the iconic landscape of sandstone arches, canyons, & winding waterways. The crystal-clear waters are home to water sports like boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, & rafting. Instagrammable points of interest include Antelope Canyon, Rainbow Bridge, & Horseshoe Bend.
The HR Coordinator provides support to Human Resources and operational managers to complete day-to-day field HR activities and ensure the successful roll-out of HR initiatives to the business. Support Human Resources management in daily reporting, administration, and other HR functions.
Position Type : Seasonal
Season Dates : Early April - Late October 2025
Housing : Employee housing is available
Job Responsibilities
1. Use HR systems to produce reports
2. Assist with tracking and administrating recognition program
3. Provide data and information as needed for investigations in partnership with HR Managers
4. Coordinate the benefits program
5. Lead and coordinate the Annual Performance Review process for front line associates in partnership with management
6. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new associates
7. Connect with a third-party administrator for worker’s compensation, FMLA, and Short-Term Disability and leave

Qualifications
1. 1-2 years in Human Resources preferred
2. Bachelor’s degree preferred
3. Strong interpersonal and planning skills
4. Strong English verbal/written communication skills
5. A high level of guest service and an eye for detail
6. Proficient in Microsoft office programs
7. Experience taking care of a large employee population preferred
