Headquartered in Rozelle, our operations extend nationwide.We’re seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team for 30 hours per week, with flexible days and hours. Ideal for someone seeking shorter workdays or 4 days per week.ResponsibilitiesThe Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the end-to-end processing invoices, employee expenses, and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies. This role involves:Accurately processing a high volume of invoices and ensuring they are matched to purchase orders and receipts, adhering to company policies.Processing monthly credit card transactions into the financial systems.Building and maintaining positive relationships with our suppliers and vendors, handling inquiries and resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.Ensuring that all payments are processed on time, and assisting in reconciling accounts to maintain accurate financial records.Assisting in month-end closing relating to accounts payable.Ensuring compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and procedures. Assisting with internal and external audits when required.Providing basic support to A/R functions as required.Other duties as assigned by your manager.SkillsMinimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an accounting environment, with a focus on Accounts Payable.Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously in previous standalone AP positions.The ability to identify discrepancies or issues within accounts and take the initiative to resolve them promptly.Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and proficiency in financial reconciliation processes.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors.Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word and Excel.A collaborative approach to work and an eagerness to support your team in achieving common goals.How to Apply:If you're ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, we want to hear from you!
