As a senior educator you’ll work with a team of early childhood professionals to deliver SDN’s innovative, high quality and inclusive program for children, while building strong, meaningful relationships with children and families, and deliver ing the support of the SDN village to their lives. About you You will be a D iploma -qualified educator with a special interest in diversity and inclusion, have an e xcellent understanding of inclusive early childhood practice and a willingness to share your knowledge and to grow and learn. About the team SD N Woolloomooloo is a well-resourced centre in inner-city Sydney located very close to public transport. Our three separate outdoor learning environments are a hidden treasure and a real asset to the families and children. Our centre provide s learning across five classrooms and o ur team, which includes some long-standing staff members are knowledgeable and supportive of children and families with diverse needs. About the role Your role will involve collaborating with children about their interests and supporting them by creating a stimulating environment. As well as supporting the physical needs of children, you will assist in the observation and evaluation of the children’s development, creating an environment which ensures trust and security and provides flexible routines and smooth transitions.
