Job Summary: The Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity. Calculate and process deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related adjustments. Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements. Assist with year-end payroll activities, including the preparation of tax documents. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, SAP). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
