The General Manager will oversee the company's daily operations, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and strategic alignment across all departments. This is a key leadership role in a fast-paced environment, where the ability to make high-impact decisions and execute them effectively will be crucial to the success of the business.
* Leadership & Operational Excellence: Lead and inspire a team, setting and maintaining high standards of performance, accountability, and collaboration.
* Project Management & Execution: Drive the successful execution of critical business initiatives, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across teams and with third-party partners.
* HR & Talent Development: Oversee all HR functions in collaboration with our HR consultant, including recruitment, performance management, and team development.
* Financial Stewardship: Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
* Strategic Vision & Implementation: Develop and execute strategic plans to foster business growth, ensuring all departments work cohesively towards shared objectives.
* Adaptability & Resilience: In a constantly evolving digital landscape, ensure business continuity by quickly addressing operational challenges and embracing change with agility.
* External Communications & Business Growth: Manage relationships with third-party partners and vendors to support business growth while focusing on enhancing the customer experience and driving revenue.
We are looking for a results-driven General Manager with a strong leadership presence—someone who holds their team accountable, drives performance, and ensures deadlines are met with precision and efficiency.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or general management role, preferably in the tech, EDUtech, or digital sectors.
* Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams, setting expectations and holding them to high standards.
* Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving efficiency, continuous improvement, and achieving business goals.
* Experience in HR management, team development, and fostering a positive work culture.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing business and technology landscapes.
* Proven project management experience, with a track record of delivering key business initiatives and working with external partners.
* Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, optimizing costs, and improving profitability.
* Familiarity with the EDUtech or education industry is a plus, but not essential.
