As a Solar Electrical Trades Assistant, you will work closely with our qualified solar electricians to support various solar installation and maintenance projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist solar electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems. Prepare and clean work areas, ensuring they are safe and organized. Handle tools, materials, and equipment required for solar electrical tasks. Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times. Carry solar panels up ladders onto roof, or lift panels from ground to electrician on roof. Perform routine checks and maintenance on solar tools and equipment. Help with troubleshooting solar electrical issues and provide support during repairs. Work comfortably at heights and ensure all safety measures are followed. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of solar energy systems and components is an advantage. Previous experience in a similar role or a relevant trade is preferred but not required. Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor tasks. Comfortable working at heights with no issues. Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
