The Role: We are looking for a passionate and visionary Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at this celebrated venue. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all culinary operations, including the main restaurant, café, bar, and small conference facilities. Develop and execute contemporary Australian menus with Mediterranean and Asian influences. Continue the venue’s strong community presence through partnerships with local schools and TAFE to support apprenticeships and career development. Lead creative and seasonal events, such as winter-themed dining experiences, and actively engage in curating unique, high-profile food activations. Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, reinforcing the venue’s commitment to sustainability and community integration. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience as an Executive Chef or senior kitchen leader in high-quality restaurants or non-traditional hotel venues. Expertise in modern Australian cuisine with the ability to incorporate diverse culinary influences. Strong leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing kitchen staff, particularly apprentices. Experience in creating innovative, themed dining experiences and managing high-volume services during peak times.
