About the Role:
The opportunity to be part of the delivery team for a new course enables you to develop and work on innovative and exciting practises aligned with industry. To create learning environments that are enriching for the student and staff experience.
* Perform the daily operations for the programs to ensure that classes run efficiently compliance requirements are met.
* Plan, teach, deliver, assess and evaluate units specifically for Outside School Hours Care
* Assist the Manager, Program Leaders, Lead Teacher and co-teacher(s) in the establishment and maintenance of a quality program and systems to ensure a quality service is being provided at all levels of the department.
* Ensure all aspects of program development, delivery, assessment and record management meet compliance requirements.
Duties:
* Plan, develop, deliver and assess as a teacher of Outside School Hours Care within the Human Services and Education Department
* Communicate regularly with the Program Lead, Lead Teacher and other staff within the Early Years and Education programs to establish a flexible team environment and consistency in resource and delivery strategies.
* Develop, maintain and evaluate student learning programs, projects and associated materials.
* Establish and maintain a learning environment that empowers and encourages students to take personal responsibility and is encouraging of them.
* Communicate and co-operate with colleagues in team teaching and other situations, including research of mentoring models.

Skills and Experience Required:
* Must have at least 2 years’ experience working as a Service Manager, Director, Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator or Educational Leader.
* A relevant Diploma level qualification, the equivalent or higher qualification in both content and academic level and industry experience relevant to the Certificate III in Outside School Hour Care
* A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including Design and Develop Assessment Tools (TAEASS502) and Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLLN4111) or (TAELLN401A).
* Vocational experience and current competence within the Accounting industry.
* Demonstrated ability to teach Outside School Hours Care
