We are currently recruiting for an experienced Category Manager to join our Consumer OTC team and manage our Women's Health, Topical Pain Management and Heart Health portfolios.
This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to expand your strategic, analytic and commercial experience to manage a significant portfolio of well-known brands, as well as future NPDs.
Reporting to the Retail Sales & Commercial Manager, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to assess, review and analyse consumer and market data, with the aim of delivering key strategic insights, driving the customer category review process, formulating the channel strategy, and championing in-store and on the shelf retail strategies.
Key responsibilities will include: Leading the management and process of category reviews, working closely with Retail Sales and Marketing to ensure reviews align to business objectives.Driving successful NPD Trade Stories, supported by analytics.Analysing/reporting and presenting market insights, understanding data sources including ACNielsen, IMS and IRI.Leading category led trade initiatives.Driving and managing alignment across brand and sales plans.About You: Exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to work in a hands-on, flexible team environment.
In addition:
A strong background in category management with experience in the FMCG or Consumer Healthcare business.Evidence of being a "change driver" in previous roles, with ability to build support and consensus across the business.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Highly developed numeric and analytical skills and able to interpret insights, draw actionable conclusions and craft compelling category stories.High proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint, IRI and IQVIA data tools.Be able to work with, and positively influence others, both within and across teams.Aspen Australia is a division of Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Limited.
