About the Opportunity We are currently seeking a dedicated Coordinator in our Community Access and Self Care team with at least one year's experience in a similar role. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Officer, the Community Access and Self Care Coordinator will take ownership of all aspects of managing the scheduling and rostering of Support Workers and Participants. We are looking for an individual with proven experience that will ensure people with disability are represented in all aspects positively and respectfully. About You Key Responsibilities • Experience in managing Disability services and liaising with stakeholders. • Experience in staff supervision and performance management. • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. • Strong financial management skills and the ability to work within a budget. • Experience supporting people with disability or other relevant experience. • Resilience and experience managing challenging behaviours. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Adept computer skills with the capability to use client database systems and liaise with teams via email and Microsoft Teams. • Experience with complex decision making. • Experience in incident management. • Experience in rostering supports and working within the SCHADS award. • Ability to prioritise work when working with multiple deadlines to ensure deliverable outcomes are met. • Current Driver’s Licence and comprehensively owned and insured vehicle. • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement of employment. • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement of employment. Candidate Requirements • Certificate III, IV in Disability Services. • Diploma in Community Services or an equivalent sector. • Certificate IV or Diploma in Management. • At least one year of experience in a similar role. • Strong leadership and management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Knowledge of health and safety regulations. • Experience with budget management and forecasting. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
