My client is a well-established Australian builder with a rich 15-year history of growth and success. Specializing in residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, they have built a robust portfolio in the private sector, with an average project value of $110 million and an impressive annual turnover exceeding $400 million.
Your New Role:
My client is offering exciting opportunities for Site Managers across North, South, and Inner West Sydney Suburbs, aligning with both new and existing projects. The Site Manager plays a pivotal role as the primary on-site supervisor, overseeing staff and subcontractors to ensure the successful execution of projects. With a focus on safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines, the Site Manager utilizes their knowledge, skills, and effective management techniques to guarantee that all construction activities align with contract documents. This role reports directly to the Project Manager or Construction Manager and operates as a full-time employee.
Your key responsibilities will include adhering to a strict construction program, maintaining accurate site diaries and forecasts, managing site personnel, and implementing comprehensive on-site Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) protocols.
For You to Be Successful:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
* Relevant qualifications in construction management or related field
* Minimum 5 years as a Site Supervisor, with experience in high-end mid-tier residential developments over $50 million
* Tier 1 and 2 head contractor experience highly regarded
* Diverse construction background desirable
* Strong reporting and systems experience
* Comprehensive understanding of the full-cycle construction process
* Excellent knowledge of Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) requirements
* Outstanding leadership skills
