Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Adelaide.

As the successful candidate, you will:
Assist the Engineering Manager/Lead Mechanical Engineer with the delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule
Perform engineering calculations for hydraulic systems, conveying systems and equipment sizing for mechanical equipment
Prepare technical specifications and design criteria based on statutory requirements, industry standards and client/project requirements
Perform package engineering for the complete package life cycle – preparing technical documents, technical bid evaluations and vendor data management
Provide input to 3D models and 2D mechanical drawings
Participate in and contribute to design reviews.
You will bring to the role:
BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering
Experience working on multidiscipline engineering projects
Good communication, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
Ability to complete tasks independently and supervise junior team members as required
Working knowledge of industry standards, regulations and codes pertinent to the mechanical engineering discipline
Ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team and coordinate mechanical activities between disciplines
Registration as a professional engineer preferred.
