Client Service Officer - Part time | NSW State Government $35-$41.59 per hour + Super, depending on experience | Part time - 14 hours per week ASAP Start | Estimated 3-month assignment, with a potential to extend About the Company Our large NSW State Government client protects, promotes and supports the rights, dignity, choices and wishes of the vulnerable people of NSW. They do this by providing multidisciplinary services including Will-making, estate planning, executorship, trustee, financial management and guardianship services. About the Role They are currently seeking an experienced Client Service Officer to join their team in Parramatta. This is a part time opportunity working 14 hours per week, rotating rosters between 9am-5pm Thursdays & Fridays. It is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend. Working within the Proactive Customer Management team, you will provide high quality consistent and timely case management services to vulnerable clients. You will be required to manage a complex caseload of Trusts/Estates at various administration stages, managing competing priorities whilst generating favourable customer outcomes. Responsibilities Manage a busy caseload of complex and critical estates Proactively manage and maintain systems, files and records Develop strategies and make substitute decisions to manage customer finances including medium to long term planning Build rapport and consult with the customer to understand their financial needs and existing arrangements Deliver high quality, professional and empathetic customer service Actively listen to the concerns and enquiries of customers Facilitate the resolution of complaints and issues, escalate as required Work closely with the Estate Management & Administration and Public Guardian divisions to achieve quality customer outcomes Discuss progress with Senior Client Service Officer Complete financial administrative duties Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements About You Professional, resilient and empathetic interpersonal skills Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite Superior organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task competing deadlines/timeframes.
