About the Role:
WA Limestone is currently looking for a Weighbridge Operator/Clerk to work at our Port Hedland Quarry. Port Hedland residents are highly encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant must be able to:
* Work under pressure and have high attention to detail
* Manage multiple tasks and prioritise duties
* Possess good communication and computer skills
* Be reliable and always on time for work
Reporting to the Quarry Manager/Supervisor, the duties involve but are not limited to:
* Operate a trade certified weighbridge, which involves the processing of computerised dockets through Command Apex.
* Input dispatch orders, manual dockets, and docket edits through Command Apex.
* Record on-hand stockpile quantities through Command Apex.
* Add new vehicles and configurations as required, ensuring accurate records of dispatched quantities.
* Receive and manage enquiries from customers, contractors, and fellow staff members.
* Input data such as fuel inventory, usage, and readings, delivery reports, and subcontractors' fuel usage reports.
* Reconcile receipts and post end of month invoices to the company accounts team.
* Provide clear and correct instructions to drivers.
* Handle COD (Cash, EFTPOS, Credit Card, and Cheques) sales including banking summaries.
* Update and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, accommodation, flight schedules, and compliance.
* Perform cleaning duties as required.
* General administrative and weighbridge office duties.
