About the Role
The Youth Justice Services team is responsible for the safety, security, and rehabilitation of young people in the community and in custody. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our centre in Broome.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with young people subject to community work obligations or orders issued by sentencing and releasing authorities.
* Ensure young people satisfy their community work obligations and retain dignity and self-worth.
* Develop new skills that contribute to their rehabilitation.
* Demonstrate cultural competency and understanding when working with diverse cultural groups.
Requirements
* Australian citizenship or permanent resident status.
* C Class driver's licence.
* Ability to conduct remote travel when required.
