This role aims to execute required lubrication maintenance activities (planned & unplanned), the materials refurbishment/rotable process, and comply with Covalent Lithium’s health, safety, environmental, HR, and asset management policies.This role is a permanent, full-time, FIFO opportunity on an 8:6 roster, from Perth to our Mt Holland mine site.Key Responsibilities:Health, Safety, Environment and CommunityActively participate and contribute to Covalent Lithium’s health and safety culture.Undertake all work in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with statutory requirements and Covalent policies & procedures.Comply with all health and safety, environmental and regulatory policies relating to the project and ensure a safe working environment.Ensure all health, safety and environmental incidents are reported.Technical/Functional/RoleInterface the organisation of the materials from the weekly plan between warehouse and maintenance.Transport to the point of use the materials required for weekly maintenance from staging area.Prepare rotable parts for dispatch to offsite repairs.Be the guardian for the maintenance and shutdown staging designated areas.Able to provide trades assistance and equipment operation. E.g. Forklift, 25 T Crane, EWP, Telehandler.Develop routine lubrication maintenance tasks on Fixed plant equipment, including cleaning and inspections.Perform application of lubricants according to specifications and best practices to minimise friction and wear.Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues related to lubrication.Troubleshoot lubrication-related problems and implement corrective actions.Financial/BudgetEnsure compliance with budget and expenditure protocols and procedures.Create purchase orders and review invoices against scope of work.Leadership and TeamEnsure effective working relationships are built and maintained with other departments and stakeholders, both internal and external.Contribute as a member of the Covalent Lithium team in upholding our desired organisation culture.Support and coach team members and employees.Role Requirements:3 years fixed plant maintenance—conveyors, ball mills, crushers, high-pressure grinding rollers, vibrating screens & feeders.Proven understanding of lubrication and condition monitoring techniques: Oil sampling.Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III) or proven experience in Lubrication.Current WA “C” class driver's license.A competitive remuneration package commensurate with the role, candidate experience, skills, and qualifications will be offered.Our team members are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.
