**Teaching Role Description/Criteria**
The positions are a Contract role, with potential for ongoing employment.
* Design and implement engaging learning experiences to promote student excellence.
* Provide a positive role model as a committed Catholic educator.
* Support students with individual and group work, adhering to course requirements.
* Collaborate with Key Learning Leaders to review, design, and develop curriculum.
* Contribute to the St Bernard's College teaching team.
* Participate in extra-curricular programs.
* Perform tasks directed by the Key Learning Area Leader and Deputy Principal.
The successful applicant will hold a teaching qualification and current VIT registration. Required competencies include:
* Experience teaching English to Years 7-10 students.
* Understanding of and commitment to Catholic education philosophy and ethos.
* Familiarity with the pastoral care needs of boys in a Catholic secondary school setting.
* Previous experience within a Catholic educational organisation is advantageous.
