At Central Victorian Therapy Solutions we not only strive to support clients to reach their goals, we also provide a flexible work environment to support the well-being and growth of our employees.Maybe you have recently graduated (congratulations!), are in the early stages of your career, or perhaps you have some years of experience – if you are passionate about being an Occupational Therapist and meet the below criteria, we encourage you to apply.Key duties and responsibilitiesDesign, deliver and provide ongoing occupational therapy services to participants who have engaged the services of CVTS via the NDIS, privately or through another service; this will be done with the ongoing support of senior team members.Independently complete occupational therapy assessments and write relevant reports to a high-quality standard.Engage in regular supervision with senior team members to receive feedback and gain support on clinical and/or other role related matters.Willingness to travel within the Bendigo Region for the purpose of attending client appointments.Work collaboratively with Allied Health Assistant(s) and senior team members to achieve positive outcomes for participants.Appropriately manage a caseload, which includes a wide variety of participants with a range of disabilities.Scheduling and effective management of your appointments, client records and calendar.Ability to assess and provide home modifications that are line with Australian Standards; this will be done with support of senior team members.Liaising with clients, families, referrers, doctors, employers and other allied health professionals to achieve coordinated outcomes toward meeting client goals from a capacity building and enabling perspective.QualificationsTertiary qualification in Occupational TherapyAHPRA registration (or in process of obtaining)A current and valid driver’s license and access to own vehicle to use for the purpose of attending appointments if company vehicle is unavailableNDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)SkillsThe ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and care teams.An innate desire to understand the needs and goals of each individual client.The ability to breakdown problems and design solutions specific to clients needs.Proficient report writing skills.Strong time management skills: ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently.Intermediate knowledge of NDIS and a willingness to further develop your knowledge.Applications should include a cover letter addressing the key duties and responsibilities, accompanied with your CV and copies of relevant qualifications.Please email your application to our Practice Manager, Sara, at ****@cvtherapysolutions.com.au
