THE ROLE
Our client designs, develops, produces and delivers progressive and innovative solutions for the heavy sectors like heavy transport, mining, rail, dredging, agriculture, hydraulics and sugar cane industries. They are looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive forward and increase business growth. Working from the Brisbane office and closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
* Identify new clients and grow existing accounts across QLD and NSW
* Cold calling / setting up and attending client meetings
* Pricing and quoting of jobs and order processing
* Manage and update CRM, sales reports and provide updates to MD
ABOUT YOU
While you have close communication and support from the MD this role is yours to manage so we need you to bring your drive, determination, enthusiasm and ability to manage your own workflow. You will also possess the following skills and attributes:
* New business development experience within a technical environment
* Knowledge of D-Glide composite materials, engineering plastics, ferrous and non-ferrous metals along with knowing CNC machining capabilities
* Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
* Ability to travel intrastate and interstate
* Proven history of delivering set KPI’s / targets
