Your new role In this dynamic new role you'll be required to spearhead achieving the agreed sustainability rating. What are we looking for? Someone who has a good understanding of environmental legislation and who has had experience in sustainability and environmental reporting. Responsible for helping to deliver Brownes' environmental, social and governance goals. Act as the primary point of contact for environmental compliance and management systems. Design and conduct laboratory studies and field trials, interpret and translate scientific and complex results, and communicate them clearly and concisely for a general audience. Maintain environmental approvals/plans, compliance and risk registers leveraging your understanding of government regulations. Ideally, you will have a solid background having worked as an Environmental Consultant / Scientist focusing on Environmental Assessments / Approvals. Sound understanding of Western Australian Environmental Legislation with proven ability to review and interpret relevant legislation, standards, codes of practice, and contractual requirements. Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Biology, Coastal Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, Resource Management, Ecology, Rehabilitation and Restoration Ecology, Environmental and Town Planning, Mechanical/Acoustic Engineering, Geology/Engineering Geology, Soil Science, or Zoology. #J-18808-Ljbffr
