You will drive revenue growth by securing strategic partnerships with brands, agencies, and suppliers (both endemic and non-endemic) while fostering a high-performing sales team. This is a leadership role that requires a mix of strategic vision, sales expertise, and a passion for the evolving retail media landscape.Key responsibilities and deliverables:Business Strategy and ExecutionDevelop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize retail media revenue across the group and individual retailers.Identify and prioritize revenue opportunities across online, in-store, and off-network advertising formats.Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, focusing on long-term partnerships with suppliers (both endemic and non-endemic), agencies, and brands.Sales and Business DevelopmentMarket facing when required to open revenue opportunities for the team through strategic and commercial discussion with senior stakeholders across suppliers (endemic & non-endemic) and agency groups.Develop growth strategies across channels through upselling, cross-selling, and new client acquisitions.Promote innovative retail media solutions, including data collaborations and digital ad innovations, to drive business growth.Own revenue targets and forecast sales performance, providing regular updates to the Executive Leadership Team.Analyse sales performance metrics and market trends to refine strategies and optimize results.Client and Media StrategyCollaborate with product teams to develop innovative advertising solutions that meet client objectives.Ensure propositions leverage the group’s first-party data to create compelling, data-driven sales narratives that demonstrate ROI for advertisers.Team Leadership and DevelopmentRecruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing retail media sales team.Set clear performance goals, foster a culture of accountability, and provide coaching to develop team capabilities.Partner closely with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, and data analytics) to align sales initiatives with the Retail Media Network’s broader strategy.Represent the group at industry events, fostering business development opportunities.About you:The single most important quality in this role is your attitude.
