Our Opportunity Star Group offers an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate who is motivated to further their career with a Tier 1 Communications contractor.The Communications Project Manager will manage and lead the project telecommunications team to deliver a project/s in accordance with Star Group's required management system, contractual obligations, commercial restraints and all relevant Australian, International standards and legislative obligations.Must ensure that project plans are developed and followed to achieve deliverables on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards as expected by the client. Your new Role The Communications Project Manager will manage all elements of a telecommunications infrastructure project and ensure deliverables are occurring in accordance with client requirements, estimations and compliance.Need to manage and coordinate with project team to ensure deadlines are met to accurately assess on how the project is progressing against time, budget, quality and safety.Manage all aspects including materials, procurement, labour, client relationships, sub-contractors, design, variations, co-ordination and suppliers to ensure run programmes are established, adjusted and delivered in accordance with project plans and compliance. The key responsibilities include: Manage project budgets Manage relationships with clients and sub-contractors on projects Manage labour and workforce on project site Manage procurement and project materials, plant and equipment Manage Quality control and assurance Develop project plans and manage compliance documentation Manage deliverables to ensure deadlines are met and projects delivered on time Safety compliance and safety administrative activities for the project Project reporting Comply with Internal Policies / Procedures The Qualifications & Experience We Are Seeking ACMA licensed and a history of vendor training. Strong experience in telecommunications project management within the Tier 1 construction industry including but not limited to commercial buildings, residential buildings and NSW Government projects. Telecommunications estimating experience and developing project plans in the construction industry Strong experience in reading and interpreting plans to assist the project team with direction Strong ability to lead and manage project teams and build relationships with clients Understanding of employment and Industrial Relations requirements on project sites.
