Due to being successful with recent tenders, our client is experiencing a high volume of work and is seeking Restoration Supervisor (QLD) to assist in managing an increased workload. With the orgainsational structure continuing to expand, you will play a crucial role in managing a wealth of projects in and around Brisbane. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive on-site assessments of insured properties to assess the extent of damage. Create detailed reports and restoration work scopes based on findings. Perform and oversee restoration activities, including localised drying, fire/smoke clean-up, and mould remediation. Set up and monitor restoration equipment to ensure effective operational efficiency. Document each job phase meticulously for claims processing and internal reviews. Maintain clear communication with clients, managing expectations and addressing concerns throughout the restoration process. Liaise with insurance assessors and claims staff, providing technical insights and recommendations. Oversee inventory management for restoration equipment and supplies. Ensure adherence to WHS and company safety protocols, prioritising the safety of all personnel on-site. Assist with training and onboarding new team members in restoration practices and techniques. Utilise PPE and proper cleaning agents for tasks involving mould, fire, or water damage. Stay updated on industry advancements and actively participate in routine safety training. Proficient in restoration techniques and equipment operation (e.g., dehumidifiers, air movers). Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective liaising with clients, assessors, and team members. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Trade or tertiary qualification in Restoration preferred. Previous experience in the insurance industry is advantageous IICRC or equivalent certifications in water, fire, or mould restoration are preferred. Strong understanding of WHS standards and safety protocols, including PPE usage. Valid Australian driver's licence.
