Our Sydney Real Estate team is looking for a bright and driven commercial property and transactions lawyer with one to four years' post qualification experience. This role will enable you to develop your skills across all stages of commercial property transactions, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating sale contracts and option deeds; drafting, reviewing and negotiating leasing documents, including agreements to lease, leases, assignments, surrenders and variations; and assisting the Partners and Senior Associates with advising clients, providing solutions and preparing formal legal opinions. In this role you will assist on the property aspects of a range of major transactions in all property sectors, such as property acquisitions and disposals, leasing and licensing, complex subdivisions, renewables projects, development work and the real estate aspects of major corporate acquisitions and project finance deals. A commercial and pragmatic mindset with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with an ability to negotiate contracts for sale and leasing documents effectively. A proactive, positive, and energetic approach, committed to delivering excellent service. Team-focused and the ability to work independently and capable of managing multiple priorities. Experience using PEXA, or able to demonstrate a strong ability to up-skill.
