What will you do?
We are seeking an experienced Designer/Art Director join our Creative and Marketing Team. As the Designer/Art Director your main objective is to ensure superior creative execution and delivery in line within the Brand guidelines.
The primary purpose of the role is to create and develop creative assets following brand guidelines and creative briefs for use across all traditional and digital media. Sense check all output for accuracy and provide files to external suppliers that are, high quality, technically correct, precise and developed to specifications and output requirements and to manage project timelines and obtain relevant stakeholder approvals at each work stage and prior to delivery.
Other key responsibilities may include:
Development of creative assets
• Creation and development of both static and animated marketing assets for use across multiple channels
• Collaborates with other Creative Service team members and stakeholders as appropriate, to obtain knowledge of project requirements then interprets and implements creative execution ,while meeting client and creative expectations while delivering the final product on time, brand and budget
Creative Leadership
•Contribute to brainstorming/creative sessions to generate design and positioning ideas
• Advises on creative execution and the production viability of marketing and communications outputs with stakeholders Art direction for campaigns and photography and attendance at shoots where required
Creative deliverables
Creation and development of artwork for use across multiple channels, including, but not limited to the following
• Catalogue
• Point of Sale
• Local Area Marketing
• Public Relations
• EDMs Website Social Mood boards
• Work closely with the Creative and Marketing teams to ensure the creative direction and content requirements are delivered accurately and on brand
• Produce artwork in an efficient manner ensuring adherence with process and timelines
• Obtain approvals from all relevant stakeholders at each work stage as required by our workflow process
• Ensure all output is produced to supplier specifications
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be have high attention to detail and a strong understanding of our Target customer. You will have the ability to take ownership of tasks, build strong working relationships and provide sound reasoning and decision quality.
Work experience and Technical Skills required:
• 7 years + experience in a marketing studio or Advertising Agency production environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and in support of a team with diverse background, experience and skills
• Strong organisation skills and ability to plan and prioritise
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite(Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and Animate),Sketch and After Affects software packages
• Experience in the creation of mood boards and art direction where required
• Experience in producing print and digital marketing assets for use across all media types
