This position is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation ensuring clear, accurate, and user-friendly manuals, guides, and procedures. This role also involves writing and updating supporting policies and procedures against technical standards like ISO 27001 as well as developing documentation for governance where applicable. Additionally, the Technical Writer will produce and maintain procedural documentation for new solutions being implemented.
Key skills required: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organisational and time management skills.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation.Understanding of IT concepts, solutions, and processes.Familiarity with documentation standards and templates.Experience in policy writing would be advantageous.This role would suit someone at the junior to mid level with a minimum of 1-2 years commercial experience.
