Purpose
The Senior Administration Advisor - Managing Editor leads the editorial team and work of the VCE Examinations work involves the development and publication of high quality curriculum and assessment materials and resources to support students, educators and schools across Victoria.
The VCE Examinations Unit is responsible for the development and publication of a range of print and electronic materials including VCE examinations, assessor reports, and sample examinations, in accordance with VCAA style and branding guidelines, and accessibility standards. The Senior Administration Advisor- Managing Editor will lead a high-functioning team with strict security and confidentiality requirements.
The role involves contributing to strategic process improvement and change management. It also involves the recruitment and management of ongoing casual and freelance staff. This role requires a deep understanding of the department, as well as providing valuable insights or recommendations to support the departments strategic vision.
