About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching: Develop and deliver courses, engage in curriculum design, coordinate courses, assess students, provide academic counselling, and adhere to university teaching rules.
* Research: Develop a profile in scholarship of teaching and learning or discipline-specific research and pedagogical practices, collaborate on research projects and participate in project discussions, seek and manage research funding, publish in reputable journals, utilize and promote best practice pedagogical practices and research methodologies.
* Supervision and Researcher Development: Supervise students, recruit and manage employees, provide performance feedback and training, resolve conflicts, and ensure correct remuneration and benefits.
* Citizenship and Service: Develop partnerships, demonstrate leadership through mentoring, engage in internal service roles and committees, perform administrative functions, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values.

About You
You should possess a PhD in a relevant field (Finance) or have submitted for final review. Additionally, you will demonstrate:
* Evidence of a high-level quality of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels in Finance.
* Experience in course coordination and contribution to the development and continuous innovation of new programs, curriculum design and course material.
* Evidence of scholarship of teaching, including education research, teaching innovations, or case study development or discipline-related research.
* Strong collaboration skills, inter-personal skills, and integrity.
* Evidence of performing value-adding service roles in a university setting.
* High personal work ethic to complete tasks in a timely manner.
* Ability to relate to students, academic staff, and professional staff.
* Enrolment or completion in a Higher Education (HEA) Fellowship or equivalent contemporary teaching focussed professional development.
* Experience with facilitation and administration of flipped classroom courses.
