Objectives of this role:
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter for a short-term, three-month contract. You will have a strong background in higher education recruitment and understand online learning facilitation, AQF standards, and the unique requirements of academic talent. This role will play a crucial part in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top-tier educators, learning designers, and facilitators to support Curio’s expanding faculty.
* Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
o Identify, screen, interview, and shortlist high-quality faculty members, educators, and learning designers.
o Proactively headhunt and build talent pipelines for current and future needs.
o Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
* Education Sector Expertise:
o Understand AQF standards and how they apply to faculty qualifications and hiring.
o Assess candidate experience in facilitation and online/blended learning environments.
o Partner with internal stakeholders to identify talent gaps and workforce planning needs.
* Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Work closely with Curio Faculty Services leaders, Learning Designers, and people teams to ensure the right fit for each role.
o Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing insights and recommendations based on market trends and talent availability.
* Process Improvement & Innovation:
o Continuously refine recruitment strategies, leveraging technology and best practices to attract top talent.
o Contribute to employer branding initiatives to position Curio as a leading destination for educators and facilitators.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Three plus years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on higher education, faculty hiring, or learning and development roles.
* Strong understanding of AQF standards, online learning facilitation methodologies, and online learning best practices.
* Passionate about learning, education, and professional development.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience in headhunting, proactive sourcing, and building talent pools.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment and adapt to changing needs.
