We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead our DevOps initiatives. Position Title: Lead DevOps Engineer Job Description: Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and career development. Train junior staff and conduct training sessions for customer teams to ensure they are well-versed in DevOps practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. DevOps Strategy and Implementation: Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure DevOps solutions. Drive the adoption of best practices in infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS), ensuring high availability and performance. Automation and Monitoring: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Logz.io. Conduct regular performance tuning, capacity planning, and security assessments. Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and SOC2. Implement security best practices and conduct vulnerability assessments and patch management. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Propose and implement improvements to existing processes and tools. Qualifications: Over five years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a proven track record in leading DevOps initiatives. Strong background in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. Proficient in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible). Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket pipelines). Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash). Strong understanding of networking and security principles. Amazon Web Services Professional and Specialty. Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
