About the Role
The Literacy Sales and Training Manager will be responsible for the acquisition and retention of customers for MTA’s digital reading platform, Wushka. This will be facilitated through a combination of both enablement and engagement techniques, such as delivering professional learning and leading customers effectively through the platform trial process from end to end. The role requires a comprehensive understanding and implementation of sales and training methodologies as well as a sound knowledge of the primary school literacy space.
Your Core Responsibilities:
* Become an expert on MTA’s digital reading platform, Wushka, and how it relates to classroom and curriculum needs across Australia and New Zealand.
* Design and deliver engaging online training sessions for both school teachers and leaders, as well as MTA staff members.
* Account manage Wushka customers, including onboarding new clients and ensuring the ongoing success and satisfaction of existing customers.
* Identify and act on opportunities for new business, upselling and cross selling.
* Utilise and monitor CRM systems to manage workload efficiently and effectively.
Your Skills and Experience:
* Solid experience in literacy sales into schools including successful management of the trial process.
* Demonstrated expertise in adult education or training.
* Excellent presenting skills across digital mediums.
* Deep knowledge and experience in the school reading and literacy sector.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
* Strong ability to leverage specialized knowledge to effectively navigate a range of sales opportunities.
* Skilled in data management and reporting, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and setting KPIs.
* Highly self-motivated, with a strong drive to take initiative and achieve goals.
