This involves maintaining competitive and compliant products and solutions and creating strong product value propositions for customers and advisers to drive increased cashflow and revenues and retain existing value. In addition, the role is responsible for Relationships and Commercials with External fund managers on the North Investment menu as well as the MP Asset Consultants/Investment managers.Main focus areas will include but not limited to:Product Management & Development Drive continuous improvement of investment products through strategic enhancements and maintenance to maximize value for customers and AMP. Support product development initiatives and manage new investment manager onboarding processes. Support implementation of regulatory compliance requirements and product changes. Collaborate with the Disclosure Team to ensure accurate and compliant product documentation. Lead relevant EFM, IMA, Rebate Agreement management and operational implementation. Support Senior Managers and Head of Investments & Managed Portfolios on product strategy. Support strategic projects related to Managed Portfolios and investment menu growth. Contribute to ongoing competitor analysis to inform investment menu decisions. Contribute to ongoing technology development initiatives for Managed Portfolio and Investment solutions. Stakeholder Management Maintain comprehensive support materials and product communications for internal and external stakeholders. Manage inquiries from Distribution, Operations, and external partners regarding Investments and Managed Portfolios. Facilitate effective communication with clients, advisers, and BDMs regarding investment menu changes. Support in building out detailed management reports for senior management and Trustee/RE boards. Risk & Compliance Ensure robust risk management through: Swift resolution of incidents and breaches related to managed portfolios and investment menus. Development and maintenance of key process documentation. Implementation of comprehensive risk mitigation strategies. Team & Culture Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment. Contribute to building and maintaining a high-performance team culture. Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team. What you will bring to the team Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:Demonstrated experience in the Australian wealth management market (3+ years) across Product, including Wrap Platforms, superannuation, retirement, and advice. Demonstrated experience in funds or asset management, investment operations and distribution (3+ years). Experience working within a Managed Portfolio Product is advantageous. Understanding of compliance requirements, relevant legislation, and the role of regulators. Business related tertiary qualifications and/or relevant post graduate qualifications e.g. law/finance/commerce degree. Strong attention to detail. Product management and/or development experience and skills. Proven experience in Platforms, managed portfolios and investment products. Strong cross-functional stakeholder engagement and relationship management. Sound understanding of regulatory environment. Sound Power Point presentation and go to market strategy focus. Strong understanding of the competitive market in which AMP operates with a customer first mindset. Effective analytical and implementation skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and comfortably deal with change (marketplace and business). Ability to make sound and justifiable recommendations and the confidence to present those recommendations to Boards and investment committees if required. You'll thrive here if...
