Support the delivery of positive organisational capability outcomes Base Salary $108,557 17% superannuation About the opportunity The HR Consultant (Projects) provides operational advice to University leaders, managers and staff on employment related legislation and is expected to provide professional, sound advice that supports the University’s broader strategies, policies and practices. The incumbent is expected to exercise independent judgement and apply professional know-how in preparing and presenting investigation, analysis and formal advice. Your key responsibilities will be to: provide HR advice tailored to meet the specific needs of the matter undertake timely and effective investigation and case management of individual underpayment claims deliver concise and comprehensive analysis and reporting of claims and work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes develop and communicate plans and strategies where required provide support and assistance to leaders and managers in a timely manner liaise with cross-functional teams, senior and key stakeholders to ensure compliance and meeting of various objectives identify continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to implementing process efficiencies. About you experience working as a HR Generalist/Industrial Advisor (or similar) within a large, complex organisation (tertiary sector is highly desirable) timely and effective project/case management skills and experience, including the ability to develop and communicate plans and strategies and report upon progress, proven interpersonal, organisation and time management skills proven skills in relationships management when liaising with key internal and external stakeholders experience in providing advice, coaching and support to senior staff proficiency in accurately interpreting and applying knowledge of employment laws and regulations and industrial instruments influencing and negotiation skills and the ability to operate with tact, diplomacy and professionalism within diverse internal environment.
