We're seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager who has proven skills in a busy and fast-paced environment and has the depth to micro-manage between front of house team and kitchen, working intimately with the chefs and owners of the business to continue to drive and innovate the best possible experience for our patrons. Job Description
-Establishing leading and cost-effective practices throughout the restaurant, focusing on a harmonious working environment for all team members
- To effectively maintain and grow the business organically and with new marketing initiatives and forecasting growth areas.
-Ensure that Dining facilities are clean, functional and of suitable appearance and comply with the standards and health regulations
-Working with chefs and suppliers to keep purchasing costs down, keeping the general cost under control.
-Doing all rostering, recruitment and training of all members for the various front-of-house roles and working with the kitchen team
-Handling cash management and financial transactions with precision
-Excellent customer service skills, ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience
-Weekly reporting to the management and analysis of sales, trends, staff performance and product inventory
-Planning and organising special functions and events
-Planning menu in consultation with the chef
-Training and supervising Waiting staff and Shift in charge
-Managing day-to-day tasks, ensuring smooth operations
Requirements
-Skills and experience the experience requirements: -
-Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in hospitality management, with demonstrated experience leading a team
-Certificate III /IV/ Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality
-Excellent verbal and written skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Able to work and communicate within a team
-Attention to personal hygiene & self-presentation is essential
-Tidiness is essential, and have great food safety practices
