* Parramatta location (in brand new offices)
* Client facing role
* Pleasant and supportive team culture - minimal overtime worked
* Well established support team
My client, an independently operated boutique firm, is seeking to appoint a dedicated Client Manager to their team. With 2 Partners and 10 staff, including 3 offshore resources, this is an exciting opportunity to take on an established client portfolio with a strong support team in place.
The firm’s clientele is comprised of a range of industries including medical, property development, SMSFs, and property investors with multiple group entities. This role will see you take on a portfolio of clients with an approximate fee base of $500k - $600k. Majority of clients are within the range of $1m - $10m in annual t / o, with a few larger groups turning over upwards of $10m.
This role is client facing, and there will be an emphasis on nurturing and strengthening relationships within the portfolio. The firm has a well-established offshore team, and your role will also involve liaising with them and reviewing work. As a practice they primarily use Xero, and for SMSFs they use Class Super.
The staff retention rate at the firm is incredibly high and a testament to the great work / life balance promoted from the Partners. Everyone generally enjoys a 9 to 5 workday, with minimal overtime worked. The firm provides support for CA / CPA studies and other professional development, and holds annual salary reviews. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to work close to home in a client-facing role.
This role is based in their brand-new Parramatta office (close to the train station & bus links) where you will find a great working environment and pleasant team culture.
You will have key responsibilities, including:
o Nurture and develop relationships with an established client base
o Provide comprehensive tax consulting and advisory to clients across various entities
o Prepare and review financial statements and reports for all entity types
o Manage internal and external client communication
o Manage workflow, mentor and review the work of offshore team members
The ideal candidate will possess:
o A relevant tertiary level qualification
o 5+ years' business services / taxation experience
o Experience working with a diverse range of clientele
o Confidence communicating with clients and other relevant stakeholders
o Genuine desire to be client facing and work in a boutique firm environment
