They are known for their commitment to quality and fostering a supportive and high-performing work culture!The Role:We are looking for a proactive and experienced Stand-Alone Payroll Officer to join the team on a part-time basis (.6 FTE). Managing the end-to-end payroll for all Australian employees, and an expedited payroll process for New Zealand employees, this role is vital to ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work one day per week from home and be eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 5%.Key Responsibilities:Process end-to-end payroll on for both Monthly and Weekly cycles.Manage onboarding and contracts, maintaining employee master data.Administer superannuation contributions, taxation, and payroll reconciliations.Ensure compliance with legislative requirements across multiple awards.Prepare and post End-of-Month payroll reports, including journal entries and leave reconciliations.Handle payroll-related queries and maintain a high level of service to employees.Use Micropay for payroll processing (preference for candidates with prior experience).About You:Proven experience in performing end-to-end payroll, including higher duties (full function E2E).Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and awards, with any New Zealand payroll experience considered a significant advantage.Experience with Micropay or similar payroll software is highly desirable.Exceptional attention to detail, a pragmatic approach, and the ability to take initiative.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.What's on Offer:Part-time opportunity with flexible work arrangements, including one day working from home.Competitive remuneration package, including a bonus of up to 5%.Join a supportive and collaborative team in a reputable manufacturing business.The opportunity to take full ownership of the payroll function and ensure legislative compliance.If you are an experienced Payroll Professional, we invite you to apply.
