Due to our ongoing success and expansion, we are seeking a skilled payroll professional to join our team.
About the Role
This position requires prior experience in processing end-to-end pay runs, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
* Process manual payments such as terminations, adjustments, and redundancy payouts.
* Manage payroll for approximately 500+ employees across eight payroll entities and six pay cycles, including data collection and award interpretation.
* Support the Payroll Leader in end-of-month tasks, including superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, and monthly reporting.
* Maintain and update company databases to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll and accounts data.
* Manage employee records, entitlements, and employment contract changes within the system.
* Act as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, delivering exceptional customer service.
About the Candidate
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced payroll professional with the following qualifications:
* Extensive experience: A minimum of 5+ years in payroll processing and/or payroll administration is required.
* End-to-end payroll expertise: Practical experience managing all aspects of payroll is essential.
* Employment legislation knowledge: Proficiency in interpreting awards, the National Employment Standards (NES), and other relevant employment laws.
* Technical proficiency: Intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel is desired.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong attention to detail.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in payroll processing and/or payroll administration is required.
Practical experience managing all aspects of payroll is essential.
Proficiency in interpreting awards, the National Employment Standards (NES), and other relevant employment laws is necessary.
