Roles to be filled
We are seeking to appoint an experienced & qualified candidate for full time employment with a background in the Heay Vehicle Manufacture and Repair Industry for the following positions:
- Supply and Distribution Manager with experience in overseeing supply chain operations, optimizing channel utilization, managing suppliers both nationally and internationally, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The successful candidate will play a vital role in strategic planning, interdepartmental coordination, and collaboration with suppliers to ensure seamless product availability and distribution.
The Candidate
The successful candidate must be qualified and have experience in supply chain management, have exceptional leadership abilities, a strategic mindset, as well as the following:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution management, ideally within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
- 10+ years of experience in leading and managing teams.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in using ERP systems for inventory, vendor, and supply chain management.
Key Strengths:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to foster relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ability to think strategically and solve problems efficiently.
- Exceptional team-building skills to motivate and lead diverse teams toward common goals.

Requirements:

- Extensive experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution management, preferably within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
- 10+ years of experience in team management.
- Experience with integrated ERP including vendor, supply and distribution, and inventory management systems.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Remuneration
$120,000 - $130,000 per year Dependent on Skills & Experience. Remuneration can be negotiated with the successful applicant at interview stage
Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates.
