Our proprietary data analytics engine is custom-designed for the logistics industry.About The RoleWe are seeking a sales process-driven, customer-centric, and results-oriented Sales Manager or Account Executive with a strong track record in B2B/enterprise sales.
In this individual contributor hunter role focused entirely on new business acquisition, you will drive predictable sales growth by building and converting a robust pipeline of global prospects into long-term customers.What Success Looks Like In This Role Consistently meet or exceed the company's quarterly and annual sales goals through your ambitious approach in Sales.A consistent and growing stream of clients opting for paid trials and subsequently becoming customers.Our customer journey is frictionless and customers are promoters and advocates.What You'll DoManage end-to-end sales from prospecting, qualification, customer research, and demo meetings to negotiations & closing SaaS contracts with senior executives in B2B companies.Hunt for new customers and expand relationships with existing customers (using your network/connections, as well as hustle for new business leads).Actively grow pipeline including planning and forecasting of sales for your targets.Execute a strategic sales plan to grow the customer base globally, with a focus on Asia.
Will also possibly tap markets such as Greater China.Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to help define sales assets and product improvements.Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline health, reporting progress, challenges, and opportunities on a regular basis.What You'll BringBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales or account management, ideally with experience selling to Freight Forwarders, LSPs, BCOs.
LogTech experience is a plus.Proven ability to exceed sales quotas and navigate complex enterprise sales cycles.A process-oriented mindset, with the ability to qualify leads, manage pipelines, and work effectively with CS, SDR, and Marketing.Experience breaking into new regional markets (e.g., Greater China) and developing early traction.Proven success rate at levels above quotas.Curiosity about customer needs and product features, with a focus on digging deeper to understand client challenges and opportunities.Self-starter mentality, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Excellent presentation, negotiation, and deal-closing skills, with a proven ability to engage senior executives.The capacity to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and involve leadership only when critical issues arise.Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus to support outreach and expansion in Greater China.Join us at Portcast and be part of a high-performing team that is shaping the future of the logistics and shipping industry through cutting-edge predictive analytics!
