About the role
TAFE NSW are seeking Casual Teacher of Agriculture & or Shearing to join the team based at Multiple locations including North Wagga Wagga campus (Primary Industry Centre - PIC), Goulburn, Moss Vale, Yass, Cooma, Queanbeyan, Griffith and Yallah. The role is responsible for a range of activities, which supports a culturally diverse group of learners in delivery of the agriculture, shearing and wool classing.
The role is responsible for a range of activities which enhances the student learning experience. As a professional educator you will skill the workforce of tomorrow by constructing and guiding the educative process in the classroom environment. In the role, you will use your industry experience to deliver educational programs and facilitate practical learning.

You have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders including colleagues, industry, and students. You are self-driven and disciplined individual, who can manage high workloads and competing demands within a dynamic and flexible work environment.
1. Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications, and hold the minimum vocational qualification in
2. Certificate III in Agriculture, equivalent qualification or higher education, and have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience in the industry OR
3. Certificate II in Shearing or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years in the industry OR
4. Certificate IV in Wool Classing, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience.
5. Have a commitment to maintain technical industry currency.
6. Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a commitment to maintain technical industry currency in any discipline.
