It works alongside national and international organisations, contributing to global research, promoting life-long learning, and developing and hosting world-class exhibitions.About the roleThe role coordinates the daily visitor services operations at the WA Museum Boola Bardip, including high presentation standards of exhibition and Museum areas, tour-guiding, some public programs, admissions, customer service, and public liaison; and ensures safety and security of the public and the Museum Collection.Supervisory experience of a large team, a strong customer focus with a teamwork emphasis, and a can-do attitude are crucial requirements for this role.About youWe are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated person who works well in a positive team environment, enjoys a challenge, and wants to make a difference.The successful applicant will be expected to:Supervise a large team including rostering, timesheets, and overseeing the daily allocations of staff.Respond to the needs of a large cultural institution including daily operations and other events, as required.Have excellent customer service skills in dealing with the public, educational institutions, and VIP visitors, with a passion and understanding of what makes a great visitor experience.Coach and mentor the team to provide the best visitor experience.A good knowledge of the arts and cultural sector is an advantage.
